Miniclip games work in all of the main web browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Opera), but you will need to download and install some of the following plugins to ensure that you can play.
Some Miniclip games require Shockwave. If you are having problems with a newly released game you may need to upgrade to the latest version.
How to download Shockwave for Windows: 1. Go to Adobe http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ to download Shockwave 2. Click the 'Agree and Install now' button. 4. Next, a security message pops up. Click 'Install' to continue. 5. You should now see a box pop up with a red F flying around in it. You can now view Flash content.
When returning back to the game page, if the game hasn’t loaded, in the Chrome's address bar, paste (or type): chrome://plugins/
Find “Adobe Shockwave Player – Version:” in the list, and click “Enable” to activate the plugin. If the “Adobe Shockwave Player – Version” plugin isn’t present in the list, then you will need to install it. Return back to the game page, and click the “Reload this page” button in the browser or press F5.
You should now be able to play the game.
There are lots of alternative games (in Flash, HTML5 and WebGL) that will continue to run in Chrome. You'll see some of these as suggested games in instances where a game doesn't load due to this issue.
